Instructors Bios

Anne Stewart PhotoAnne Stewart, BBEC, co-instructor with Martine Davis of IBE 211: Anne’s twelve year background in property management includes looking after all aspects of urban residential duplexes and triplexes in Toronto, Canada. After undertaking a second degree in environmental health, she then embraced public health inspection for a large municipality, where she investigated communicable and infectious disease outbreaks, air quality and mold, chemical spills, and inspected restaurants, food manufacturing facilities, child care centers, and long-term care facilities.

Anne is currently an independent environmental educator and consultant in Oakville, Ontario. She is professional member of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI(C)), and an active member in the Ontario and Canadian Public Health Associations, and in the Healthy Indoor Partnership. In addition Anne is active in water protection as a member of the International Water Association, the local representative of Sailors for the Sea in the Toronto area, and on the board of the Georgian Bay Association.

When not busy helping people create healthier spaces, Anne is happily sailing the oceans and lakes of this wonderful world. See www.annestewart.net for more information.
