IBE 214: IEQ and EMR for Architects and Builders
This new 4-day seminar, a trove of current state-of-the-art science and modalities, condenses and combines the current IBE 211 (Indoor Air Quality) and IBE 212 (Electromagnetic Radiation) seminars, and approaches both crucial issues from a standpoint of prevention through informed design and construction practices. It provides the practical science and methods that design and building professionals require for new construction and renovations in order to assure that their clients receive and dwell in optimal healthy environments. The information is also relevant for anyone interested in creating their own healthy spaces, as it provides a solid understanding of both indoor air quality and electromagnetics.
The topics covered are: EMR understanding and installations for new construction and renovation; IAQ understanding and improvements for new construction and renovation; Lighting and Color for Health; Acoustics. This seminar conveys 40 Continuing Education Credits (AIA, ACAC, InterNACHI).
This seminar can be taken as a continuous event with IBE 215: IEQ & EMR for Architects and Builders, which with a 1-day break in-between immediately precedes (02 through 05 Dec.) IBE 215.
