Larry Gust, IBE President of the Board (since 1994): Lawrence Gust, BBEI, EE, is a Building Biologist and Electrical Engineer, and a faculty member of the International Institute for Bau-biologie and Ecology.

 

Jeanne McLaughlin, IBE Treasurer of the Board, Board Member (since 2009): Jeanne McLaughlin, BBEC, is a certified Building Biology Environmental Consultant and the Building Biology Practitioner Coordinator for IBE. Jeanne is a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner on the Board of Fung Shui Institute International, FSII, a Reiki Master, and a Laugh-a Yoga teacher.

Christopher Bell, IBE Board Member (since 2007): Christopher Bell, BBEC, is an attorney and international educator, and Adjunct Faculty Member in the Sustainable Living Department of Maharishi University.

 

 

M. Spark Burmaster, IBE Board Member (since 1993): Spark Burmaster, BBEI, EE, is a certified Building Biology Environmental Inspector, Electrical Engineer, national EMF mitigation expert, and a faculty member of the International Institute for Bau-biologie & Ecology.

 

Dr. Ann Louise Gittleman, IBE Board Member (since 2010): Ann Louise Gittleman, PhD, CNS, is an award-winning New York Times best-selling author of over thirty books on health and healing. Her latest book is Zapped, a user-friendly guide to outsmarting the hazards of electronic pollution.

 

John Evans Henderson, IBE Board Member (since 2010): a certified Green Building Designer, John Henderson, has been designing/building, mostly homes, for more than 40 years, and moved past GREEN to Building Biology after realizing people were getting sick from what he believes to be mostly indoor environmental issues.  He is currently Co-chair of the Sierra Club of Central Florida board of directors, and a BBEC.

 

Sonia Hoglander, MBA, BBEC (board member since 2012), owner of HomEvolution Consulting, is an electrical engineer with an extensive background in project and program management, IT and communications solutions consulting, business planning, sales and marketing consulting. She is co-chairperson, with Chris Bell, of IBE's partnership marketing committee.

 

Helmut Ziehe, IBE Founder (1984), President (1984-2004); Board Member (1992 - present). Helmut Ziehe received his Dipl.-Ing. Architect degree from the Technical University in Berlin in 1964 and a post-graduate degree in Tropical Architecture from the AA School of Architecture in London. Mr. Ziehe founded IBE in England and brought it to the United States in 1987.
